In my forty years working as a Clinical Social Worker, it has been my privilege to witness growth, change, courage and healing. I seek to empower clients; to help clients find their strength and resilience.
Working with young adults as they form their own identity and choose their life path is especially meaningful to me. I welcome clients who are dealing with sexual identity issues. I also welcome their parents and grandparents.
Some of you are recovering from an unsafe or traumatic childhood. Processing those feelings will free you to become who you want to be.
Because of my years working in health care, I am able to support and work with clients who have received a devastating diagnosis or who are learning to live with a complex chronic illness. I also provide supportive therapy to persons recovering from addiction.
Life gives us difficult paths to walk at times and they can be easier to navigate with support. Knowing that you are not alone helps you find the strength you need to triumph.
